e-Drive is a product news tabloid focused on new developments and technology advancements in electric motors, drives and related components and systems. Readers are OEM and system design engineers, application engineers and system integrators who utilize electric motors and drives in developing products and systems for a wide variety of applications including transportation markets, appliances, industrial equipment and machinery, consumer electronics, office and medical equipment, power equipment and automation systems; and developers of motor and drive systems and equipment.
SUBJECT AND CONTENT
e-Drive magazine accepts contributed material for short, concise treatment of one topic. We publish feature articles that address AC and DC electric motors, drives, pump motors and drives, subfractional horsepower motors, gear motors, speed reducers, gears, gearboxes, brakes, IC's, controllers, linear motors, capacitors, power conversion systems, transducers, electronic components, power electronics, instruments, test equipment and services, actuators, sensors, relays switches, power supplies.
PRESS RELEASE FORMAT
All press releases should be submitted by e-mail (shannong@infowebcom.com). Attached corresponding product photos need to be in 300 dpi tif format, PC compatible. Releases may be edited for length, grammar, punctuation and style.
ARTICLE FORMAT
All articles must be submitted by electronic mail (shannong@infowebcom.com). Also, mail or fax a hard copy of the manuscript so we can see where italics, bold, unusual margins and other non-text features are in the document. Articles should be comprised of 1,000 to 2,500 words for a typical one to two page article, not to exceed 3,500 words. Articles may be edited for length, grammar, punctuation and style.
ARTWORK
Artwork is preferred with each article. Tables, charts and graphs should be prepared as neat as possible with data accompanying them in text-only format. Color graphics, screen shots or photos should be submitted as 300 dpi in .eps, .jpg, .tif or .bmp format, PC compatible, at approximately 3 inches. If you cannot provide artwork, let us know in advance so that we can make appropriate arrangements.
AUTHOR BIO AND PHOTO
Please submit a concise biography of the author with the manuscript, and include phone, e-mail and other contact information. Photo of author is encouraged.
