
SMMA - The Motor & Motion Association is a manufacturing trade association whose core membership is electric motor and motion control companies. The membership of more than 120 also includes suppliers, users and associated businesses such as consultants, universities, and distributors.

If your work involves the designing or applying of motion control products or systems, you are a motion control specialist. You, your work, your peers, and the motion industry will all benefit when you join the Association of International Motion Engineers (AiME).

The Motion Control Association (MCA) is a global not-for-profit trade group dedicated to promoting the understanding and use of motion control technologies and developing business opportunities for mechanical and electronic (mechatronics) motion control companies. Our membership includes manufacturers of complete motion control systems, component manufacturers, system integrators, distributors, end users, consulting firms, academic institutions and research groups directly involved with mechanical and electronic (mechatronics) motion control around the world.

The Automation Federation is an umbrella organization under which associations and societies engaged in manufacturing and process automation activities can work more effectively to fulfill their missions. It will coordinate the work of member organizations engaged in advancement of the science and engineering of automation technologies and applications.

PLCopen is a non-profit industry organization developing and setting control software standards based on the IEC 61131-3 standard. PLCopen provides information, training, and fosters communications between users, vendors, educators and other people involved in control software. PLCopen is headquartered in the Netherlands with offices in Japan, China, and United States.
